Come race a 200 meter with your age group!! ⭐️Watch real awesome meets after/before your race!!

Saturday April 9th 2022 / UC BERKELEY – Edwards Stadium

The Kids Half Lapper (200m) race is during the Brutus Hamilton Invitational Track Meet at CAL, Edwards Stadium on UC Berkeley’s campus!  It is a college meet..and there is our special, highlighted race for the kids!  The race begins at 12:40pm SHARP..it is important to meet Coach Joy near the finish line grass area @ 12:15pm. …there, we will divide into age groups to race:  5 & under, 6 ,7…etc..and walk to the start of the 200m. (This 200m race is open to all kids ages 13 and under). This is a great opportunity to run a 200m..the crowd will cheer for everyone & it is a fun experience! Yay!! Everyone racing receives an award, too! (..races are over by 12:50pm ..college races immediately follow).  Parents may walk out to the start with the children & also wait at finish line. HOWEVER, there is a high power meet happening around this 200m event for kids..so Please be aware of other athletes in the infield. So, after the fun kids races, we must exit the track immediately. Then, stay and watch the meet! Yay!

Arrive early! Parking in Berkeley can take more time than anticipated. Arrive ONE hour before race.

FRIDAY April 15th 2022 / Acalanes High School Track, Lafayette, CA 94549

Another Kids Half Lapper (200m) race is during the Warren/Eaton Relay Track Invitational!! This is a High School meet, and again, the Kids Race is a highlight! Race begins at 6PM, same format as above with age groups, etc. Meet Coach Joy at 5:30pm by the Snack Shack – there, we will divide into age groups, then head to the start of the 200m to race.
