In a highly competitive meet which took place in Malaga, Spain, Coach Joy is represented Team USA in the 2018 World Masters Championship. http://www.malaga2018.com.  She competed in the Women’s 55-59 age group (W55) .  Her events were 100m, 200m, 80m hurdles, long jump and USA Team Relay.

There were 8000+ competitors in the championship!

She carried the USA flag during the Opening Ceremony!  Sportsmanship is very important to her. She always remembers to say “good job, you’re awesome” to her competitors from around the world:-)

She was one of the top competitors of the Championship. Medaling in ALL of the events she competed in! To top off the championship, she anchored the W55 4x100m relay for Team USA and not only did they win-they set a WORLD RECORD! Congrats to Coach Joy and her relay team!
