This 2017 Track Season was very exciting for Coach Windy!
In April during the Stanford Invitational, she had PR’s (personal records) in both the hurdles and long jump! Racing 14.54 in the 100m hurdles and jumping 18’5 3/4′! That was a terrific beginning of the season. She continued her season anchoring the 4x100m relay to a school record and at the statemeet raced her best in the 100mh in 14.47. Biggest accomplishment of the year was winning the long jump in the North Coast Section Championship in 19’1 3/4! Congrats Coach Windy!
Her focus has been very good. Warming up well, doing her form drills and remembering her good posture!
Her good attitude and good sportsmanship shows, too- you will see that after her races and competition she says “good job” to her competitors and she thanks the Track Officials for working the events! Yay! That is our Jackrabbit Track Club way 🙂
